Workshop 1: Hydroponic – Future of Agriculture
Kids love getting their hands dirty, but unfortunately there’s none of that with hydroponics; there’s no soil in sight! Learning about hydroponics will take your child’s initial interest in gardening help them learn about how plants work and how science works. Hydroponics can be used to grow many of the foods you eat and has many advantages over traditional farming.

Growing plants is obviously important for their many products -food, fiber, medicinal products, aesthetic value and energy. The significance of plants to our economy leads to efforts to growing fields of biotechnology to provide new methods of plant improvement.
